Lean & Hungry's A Midsummer Night's Dream

Katzen Arts Center

Thursday, Feb. 18, 8 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 19, 8 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 20, 2 and 8 p.m.

Set in the Prohibition Era, AU’s Theatre Program presents Lean & Hungry Theater’s adaptation of this Shakespeare classic with characters as gangsters and molls. The story of beguiled young lovers, vengeful mobster kingpins, and slapstick laborers culminates with the hilarious "play-within-a-play" climax. Production includes live sound effects and original music to create this contemporary interpretation. Directed by Jessica Hansen.

Tickets: $15 general admission, $10 students, seniors, and AU community.

Available online through the American University Box Office.
